What this site is. Skip Winter is an information site about spending the winter months in Medellín, Colombia. It is not a travel agency, a rental agency, a law firm or an accountant. Nothing here is legal, tax, immigration or financial advice; visa rules, tax residency rules and airline routes change, and you are responsible for checking the current ones before you act.

Accuracy. We source every climate figure and say where it came from, and we compute daylight astronomically. We still make mistakes; if you find one, tell us. We're not liable for decisions you make based on the site.

Referrals. When we refer you to a rental operator or other provider, the contract is between you and them. We may receive a referral fee, disclosed where relevant. We aren't responsible for their services.

Content. Text, charts and images are © Scout Theory LLC unless noted. You can quote short excerpts with a link back. Don't republish pages wholesale.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
